贵公司如何治理人权有关问题?

The company Chief Sustainability Officer (part of the company Management Team) leads the responsibility for Human Right in the company. Aramex workplace policies, practices and conditions shall remain in harmony with the universally accepted human and labor rights, notably the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.

贵公司如何管理人权?

Aramex implementation of the human right principles is integrated within its business processes; a regular employee engagement sessions are conducted in collaboration with external entities. Also a system for reporting any violations is in place which allows for anonymous reporting. A committee is formed whenever there is a violation to investigate and take action on any incident. Human rights training is conducted as part of our Basic training program; another training is done on regular basis for all employees. Aramex evaluates it business partners practices and helps in improving them in case these practices are not in compliance to the international standards.

Aramex conducts regular stakeholder engagements to all its stakeholders including its employees with the purpose of getting feedback on all related business and non-business practices including the human rights.

  • Transparency in payments to governments / responsible tax practices
  • Children (including child labour)

就避税和收入信息披露采取行动

For the Transparency in payments to governments we have established a strong anti-bribery and corruption program that caters for training our staff and our business partners; prevents any miss-conduct and tracks any violation if it happens.

For the Child labor within the organization; we have developed or recruitment processes to prevent any kind of child labor within the organization; by defining the minimum age of the new employees. All the above is done according to the international laws and regulations.

Aramex issues a yearly integrated report that covers all our financial and non-financial practices; in this report we clearly define any human right valuations if any; also this reports helps in spreading the awareness on Human Rights across our stakeholder community.

Aramex has an anonymous reporting system for any kind of violations; this protects the reports and allows the information to reach the top level executives in the company. Implementing strong actions is being practiced in reaction to any human right violations. We had very little incidents on human rights which are reported in our annual report.

Aramex is part of United Nations Global Compact Human Rights working group; Also we participated in the preparation of the Women and Children rights in partnership with UNICEF.

Working in different geographical locations imposes various types of challenges including human rights related ones; for example in some countries of operation child labor; forced labor and other violations are normal business practice and we have to work with our business partners to make sure that they have the same practices we have.
